Is wellness dead? Not really — but it’s not enough anymore, either, according to a new position paper about ADURO’s superior Human Performance approach.

Unlike traditional wellness thinking, which focuses almost entirely on physical health (and people who are unhealthy), Human Performance takes a holistic view of individuals and addresses the four core elements of their lives:

  • Health & Fitness
  • Money & Prosperity
  • Growth & Development
  • Contribution & Sustainability

Each of these elements has the potential to impact other elements both positively and negatively — for example, improving an individual’s financial well-being typically will improve their stress levels as well. The Human Performance approach recognizes these connections, utilizing Positive Psychology and Intrinsic Coaching to encourage long-term transformational habit change and improved outcomes.

In the end, helping individuals improve their Human Performance also improves the performance of organizations, creating opportunities to lower healthcare costs, increase engagement and boost productivity.

Check out the position paper here, and learn how Human Performance goes beyond wellness.
